THE PHILIPPINE National Police continues to monitor schools two weeks after the opening of the School Year 2024-2025.

“Our security coverage under Oplan Balik Eskwela is ongoing as directed by our Chief PNP, not just for the opening of classes,” said PNP Spokesperson Pcol. Jean Fajardo.

Last week, Fajardo added that there were no “serious threats” following the opening of classes.

“We continue our vigilance to ensure the safety of our students and teachers,” she further stated.

The PNP official mentioned that they aim to maintain police assistance desks even after the opening of classes to ensure student security.

Some schools will open their classes on August 5, while others experienced delays due to Typhoon Carina.
