THE CITY government of Taguig City has provided free annual free medical and physical examination to teachers and non-teaching personnel.

Free physical examination, vital signs monitoring, chest X-ray, complete blood count, dental assessment, visual acuity check, clinical breast exam, Pap smear, and other necessary diagnostic tests for early detection and treatment of various diseases have been provided.

Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano said that the purpose of such free medical and physical examination for teachers and non-teaching staff were to ensure that those who teach and help students are in good health.

The free medical examination will be until July 30, according to the LGU. The activity started last July 1.

“Binibigyang-diin ng programang ito ang pangako ng lungsod sa kalusugan at kapakanan ng mga guro,” said in a report of the LGU.
