THE Professional Regulation Commission and the Board for Professional Teachers announced that 389 educators have passed the Special Professional Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.

A total of 137 elementary teachers out of 274 examinees and 252 secondary teachers out of 478 examinees have passed the said examination.

Jovelle Salamanca from University of Santo Tomas ranked first with 90.80 percent rating, followed by Jenefer Gregorio from Pangasinan State University-Asingan with 86.80 percent.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Chairman Dr. Rosita Navarro and Vice Chairman Dr. Paz Lucido and members Dr. Paraluman Giron and Dr. Nora Uy.

The exam was given last June 18, 2024 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Al-Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Manama, Bahrain; and Singapore.

PRC advised passers to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
