MSU-IIT RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY OF LIMOGES
THE MINDANAO State University-Iligan Institute of Technology renewed its partnership with the University of Limoges (UniLim) in France.
Through the efforts of the Department of Physics of the College of Science and Mathematics, the two universities signed a memorandum of understanding earlier this month.
MSU-IIT said that the agreement highlights the shared commitment of both universities “to advance education, research, and cultural exchanges.”
“With a strong emphasis on strengthening friendship and cooperation, the renewed MOU aims to create a solid foundation for future endeavors,” it said.
“The objectives of this framework agreement are to foster equity, reciprocity, and mutual understanding between the universities and their researchers. By promoting and developing academic cooperation, both universities seek to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and global understanding,” it added.
Through the agreement, the two universities will facilitate the following areas of collaboration:
1. Exchange of academic and administrative staff, creating opportunities for knowledge-sharing and professional growth
2. Collaborative research efforts, allowing for the exchange and presentation of valuable insights and discoveries
3. Sharing of academic materials, publications, theses, and other scientific information, bolstering the body of knowledge accessible to scholars in both institutions.
