DLSU-D SHS STUDENTS WIN SEVERAL AWARDS IN NYC, NAT’L ROBOTICS TILT
SENIOR High School students of the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas bagged several awards in the 20th National Youth Congress and the National Robotics Competition.
The students won 1st Runner Up in the Glimpse Video Competition and made it to the Top 5 in the Economics Quiz Bee.
They were also among the finalists of the SMART Idea Pitch Competition.
“Our exceptional students showcased brilliance, passion, and innovation, securing a myriad of awards. In this moment of triumph, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to our students and express gratitude to the mentors and supporters who played a crucial role in guiding them,” the school said.
The National Youth Congress is an assembly of the nation’s brightest minds and serves as a platform for young leaders to exhibit their skills, ideas, and commitment to positive change.
Meanwhile, the SHS Robotics Team also picked up second and 6th place finishes at the recently held National Robotics Competition 2023.
“DLSU-D High School is building its robotics program. These remarkable achievements are the start of many more to come,” Marlon Pareja, DLSU-D SHS principal, said.
