BATANGAS STATE U GETS WORLD-CLASS STATUS AS CIDIO COLLABORATOR
THE BATANGAS State University has achieved another significant milestone after receiving official approval for its world-class status as a Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate collaborator.
“We are delighted to become one of the three collaborators of CDIO in the Philippines, and one of the 52 in Asia, joining a global community of 183 universities committed to providing students with a truly unique and transformative educational experience,” university President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo said.
“Its approach aligns perfectly with our mission to provide a rigorous and relevant education that prepares our students to become industry-ready graduates and build a stronger nation,” he added.
As a collaborator, BatStateU extends its network of academic institutions worldwide, allowing the sharing of best practices and fostering a dynamic, experiential and collaborative learning environment.
CDIO is known as a global educational framework for engineering education whose goal is to train the leaders of tomorrow in engineering.
It gives students a well-rounded education with a focus on engineering basics and real-world systems and products.
This initiative has been adopted by leading universities including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Tsinghua University, and the Chalmers University of Technology.
