A LOCAL official in Bohol province and 35 sectoral leaders from Taguig City joined Aksyon Demokratiko party led by Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso on Wednesday, October 20.
Atty. Jiselle Aumentado Villamor, who is running for provincial board member of Bohol’s 2nd District, took her oath before Domagoso at the Manila City Hall.
Villamor served as corporate board secretary of the National Irrigation Administration from April 2018 to June 2021.
She is the granddaughter of former Bohol Governor Erico Aumentado and the niece of Bohol 2nd District Rep. Aristotle Aumentado.
Meanwhile, officers representing young people, women, senior citizens, homeowners and frat men from Taguig also took their oath.
Domagoso asked the party’s new members to focus on the Covid19 pandemic and ensure that the “grievances of the public reach the government.”
“Ang tunay nating kalaban ay Covid19 na nagdulot ng pandemya, na mahirap na nga tayo bago pa nagkaroon ng pandemya, nilugmok pa tayo ng pandemya,” he said.
“Ang kailangan, mabilis ang kilos. Kailangan may desisyon, hindi yung teka muna, teka muna,” he added.
