CHED INSPECTS 3 SCHOOLS IN MINDORO FOR F2F CLASSES

OFFICIALS from  the Commission on Higher Education, Department of Health and the local government of Mindoro inspected three schools to assess their readiness to conduct limited face-to-face classes.

The joint inspection team evaluated the Occidental Mindoro State College, Luna Goco Colleges, Inc. in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro and the Institute of Business, Science and Medical Arts, Inc. in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.

They inspected the schools’ classrooms, laboratories, library, comfort rooms, isolation facility, entrance and exit doors of each classroom.

CHED emphasized that schools must strictly comply with the guidelines to ensure the safety of students and faculty members.

As of June 21, CHED said it received 218 intents and 155 applications for limited in-person classes.

Out of the 155 applications, the commission has allowed 93 colleges and universities in 14 regions to hold F2F classes.
