THE BICOL University and the Philippines State College of Aeronautics Schools have both expressed gratitude to Sen. Sonny Angara for helping them secure bigger budgets.

The BU said it appreciated Angara’s help in granting P84,432,000 to its College of Medicine to increase its carrying capacity and P92,534,000 for the construction of the College of Law building.

“Your benevolent gesture will definitely make a difference to the Bicolano scholars who would one day serve the country as competent and compassionate Filipino doctors and lawyers,” BU said in a post.

The PSCAS also thanked Angara for sponsoring P15 million for the acquisition and purchase of Integrated School Management Information System Phase II for fiscal year 2021.

“The entire PhilSCA community is grateful for your generous support. You truly made a difference for us! Mabuhay po kayo!” the school said.

Angara also sought P2 billion for the Philippine General Hospital.

“Bilang suporta sa dedikasyon ng mga magigiting nating  eksperto at mga kawani ng Philippine General Hospital sa paglilingkod sa mahigit 600,000 pasyente taon-taon, itinulak po ng inyong lingkod na madagdagan ang budget ng university hospital na ito ng higit P2 bilyon. Ito ay upang masigurong tuloy-tuloy ang dekalidad na serbisyo sa kabila ng panganib ng Covid19,” the senator said.
