“We should tell him the truth,” a faceless individual is heard saying in one of the promos for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” Sir Patrick Stewart, who played Charles Xavier in seven “X-Men” films between 2000 and 2017, has an uncanny resemblance to the voice. Stewart’s return as Xavier is likely, given the multiverse’s capacity for alternative realities. The X-Men were founded by Charles Xavier, better known as Professor X.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON (2015)

Wanda Maximoff, who will play a significant role in the film, makes her screen debut in the second “Avenger’s” film which is the Age of Ultron.

DOCTOR STRANGE (2016)

Prior to the second “Doctor Strange” film, the first film should be viewed by anyone who intends to see it. Benedict Cumberbatch makes his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Doctor Strange in the film’s self-titled origin.

WANDAVISION, The Series (EP 01-09)

After losing Vision and her boys, Wanda lets the town go free. In a similar way to Doctor Strange’s stay in Kamar-Taj, she seeks to isolate herself as she gains proficiency in the mystic arts. Suddenly, she is interrupted by the voices of her children, who are begging her to finish reading The Darkhold. One of the Doctor Strange 2 teasers shows her seeing Billy and Tommy in their Westview home, and she looks determined to track them down.

LOKI (2021)

His MCU series, Loki: Master of the Universe, has strong ties to Marvel’s cosmos. The Time Variance Authority (TVA) is introduced in the episode, which is an agency that regulates time travel in order to prevent multiple timelines.

A lot of information about the TVA is revealed when Loki is arrested for time-traveling. In “Doctor Strange 2,” spans are speculating a cameo or a connection to the story.

SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME (2021)

The multiverse is prominently featured in the film, with characters from prior Spider-Man films making their debut in the MCU for the first time. The plotline of the new movie appears to be directly informed by the consequences of Doctor Strange’s faulty spell that allows this universe-blending plot to take place.
