In the event of a pandemic, CHED is considering a bubble idea to ensure the safety of student-athletes and coaches.

San Beda head coach said that a lot of sacrifices have been made with the “bubble training.”

“Medyo mahirap lang pero sakripisyo lang kasi kailangan practice eh,” said San Beda Red Lions head coach Boyet Fernandez.

“‘Di baleng mahigpit but at least we know that the student-athletes are safe,” Paul Supan, athletics director of Jose Rizal University, added.

CHED Executive Director Cinderella Jaro said that there might still be changes to contain the Omicron coronavirus variant.
