ATENEO GETS PLAYOFF TICKET AFTER SWEEPING UP
The Ateneo Blue Eagles secured a playoff ticket against Adamson University (ADU) in the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball tournament with a victory over the University of the Philippines (UP), 19-25, 25-11, 25-18, 25-19, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, June 9.
Ateneo started slow and suffered from a first-set defeat, but the Blue Eagles awoke swiftly from their slow start, turning a 13-9 advantage in the second set into a 25-11 thrashing off a 12-2 final kick.
