PARIS-BOUND gymnast Carlos Yulo secured another gold medal in the floor exercise at the 2024 Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU) Senior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Uzbekistan on Saturday (18 May 2024).

Yulo scored 14.933 to claim the gold, surpassing Kazakhstan’s Milad Karimi (14.600) and China’s Yanzhi Yang (14.200). Fellow Filipino gymnast John Ivan Cruz also competed in the finals, finishing fourth with a score of 13.966.

This victory marks Yulo’s second medal in the competition, following his gold in the individual all-around last Thursday.

Additionally, it is Yulo’s third consecutive gold in the floor exercise at the Asian Championships, having won the event in both 2022 and 2023.
