The head coach of the ADT Scott Cooper announced the new development for the 23-year old talented man who will leave for Thailand next week to seal the deal.

Gayoso is a two-time UAAP MVP with Ateneo, bringing his talent to ADT where he was the first one to boot the first score of Azkals back in their heated match against Mendiola FC in PFL by Qatar Airways last month.

Muangthong United is known for being a powerhouse in Thai after being a four-time winner in the top division, but finished fifth last year and is currently ninth in the league table for the 2020-2021 season.

“It’s not over the line yet, but it’s close and it’s an excellent move for him,” said ADT coach Scott Cooper, who handled Muangthong United in 2014.

Gayoso had a blasting performance with ADT, justifying the position of midfielder which was also the same reason for why he was picked to play in the Thai team.

“I think it’s a great step up for him to go to the Thai League,” Cooper propounded.

“It’s really a good challenge for him because he has to step up a few levels,” he added.

Gayoso will be playing among the notable players which are Javi Patino (Ratchaburi), Patrick Reichelt and Patrick Deyto (Suphanburi), Carli de Murga (Chonburi), and Michael Falkesgaard (Bangkok United).

On the other hand, OJ Porteria will also be taking his skills in Thailand after playing 9 seasons and helping United City capture the PFL title, is also set to play in Thai League but no word yet on where the midfielder will suit up.
