TEAM OTE ON ITS THIRD WINNING STREAK WITH LEBRON LOPEZ STILL ON THE BENCH
Lebron Lopez sat out Team OTE’s third game of the Overtime Elite in a close match, 86-70, against Liberty Heights on Tuesday (Manila time) at Combine Academy in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
However, the 6-foot-5 wing was nowhere in action as coach Tim Fanning chose to bench him in the back-to-back wins.
Now on its third winning game, Lopez was still waiting for his call in the court.
Regardless, team OTE’s third victory was led by Johned Walker, who delivered 21 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
The continuous dominance and hunger for winning were stretched as Kok Yat had 19 points, including five three-pointers.
Amen Thompson and Matt Bewley also had a fair share as the former knocked 16 points and 13 points from the latter.
On the other hand, Liberty Heights put up a fight as Silas Demary Jr. scored 20 points; Elijah Jamison and Ryan Prather Jr. both scored 15 points.
This Wednesday will be the fourth game for Team OTE in square-off against Combine Academy Goats.
