Lyceum Director, Topex Robinson confirmed the alliance of Shawn to showcase his talents and skill for the Intramuros-based squad.

Waiting for a pride-redemption for landing third-place finish of NCAA 95 as they frolic without the standout twins Jaycee and Jayvee Marcelino on the game.

Robinson ensured that Shawn will be a great contribution to the team filling up the voids.

“Shawn will be a big addition to our program,” he said.

Standing 6-foot-5, the lone-player with double digits in Letran landed a spot as the 10th placer in the NCAA NBTC.

He posted averages of 11.3 points on 50-percent shooting, alongside 9.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.5 blocks last season.

For him, LPU gave him an opportunity for his collegiate career that he has been looking for despite numerous NCAA schools recruiting him.

Madadala ko sa LPU siguro is yung skills ko at puso sa paglalaro. Papatunayan ko na hindi masasayang yung oportunidad na binigay sakin ng LPU,” he shared.

Though Shawn has found a new home now, he expressed his gratitude to the Letran community for embracing him with open arms for the last two years of his playing-career with Squires.

Habang buhay ko pong dadalin ang lahat ng aking natutunan bilang isang LETRANISTA,”  with a two-heart emoji that he shared through his Facebook post.

As this Baby ‘Muyang’ will establish for another name in the collegiate division, he will join the Pirates along with the new rookies’ John Bravo from First City Providential College, as well as with his homegrown stars Mclaude Guadana and John Barba.
