Paat fired 19 attacks and nailed five of the team’s 10 service aces as the Cat Devil went up to 4-3 for fourth place and advanced to the second round.

The absence of Thai national team middle blocker Karina Krause did not stop Ratchasima from trouncing Proflex RSU and leaving them at 2-5 in sixth place.

Nakhon dominated the first frame as Paat already delivered five points in which she chipped the last three points to win the first set.

In the second frame, the Adamson University standout fired eight points and eleven points in the third set.

Kanyaphat Khunmat had eight points, Chitaporn Kamlangmak also chipped in eight, while Patcharaporn Sittisad and Amornthip Khomthong scored six markers each.

Proflex had no players score in double digits, with Arisa Promnok and Thatdao Kanwitthayi leading the way with nine points each.

The second round of the tournament will have six teams to compete where Black Power and Kasetsart already bowed out in the first round.
