OTE ANNOUNCES 24-MAN ROSTER; LEBRON LOPEZ TO JOIN THE LIST ALONG WITH SEVEN INT’L PLAYERS

Overtime Elite is set to begin its inaugural season with 16-18-year olds players completing the 24-man lineup.

“These 24 exceptional young men with the support of their families, have charted a new path for athletes to maximize their talent through elite coaching, specialized academics, professional training, and economic empowerment,” said OTE commissioner and president Aaron Ryan.

The 6-foot-5 wing Lopez who signed with the league last July is the only Asian player that is included in the roster.

Also, the other six international players are Puerto Rico’s Emmanuel Maldonado, Jean Montero of Dominican Republic, and Tudor Somacescu of Romania, and forwards Izan Almansa from Spain, Nathan Missia-Dio of Belgium, and Alexandre Sarr from France.

Completing the list are main gunners twins Matt and Ryan Bewley and Amen and Ausar Thompson; centers Jahzare Jackson and Jalen Lewis; forwards Dominick Barlow, Malik Bowman, Jaylen Martin, Jai Smith, Tyler Smith, and Kok Yat; and guards TJ Clark, De’Vontes Cobbs, Jazian Gortman, Bryce Griggs, and Bryson Warren.

Each OTE player is expected to receive a six-figure salary plus bonuses and shares of equity in Overtime and with a guaranteed minimum salary of at least $100,000 per year.
