MVP SUPPORTS PH-CHINA EXHIBITION GAME; GUIAO READY TO COACH PBA SELECT TEAM

The said exhibition game was proposed first by the PBA Chairman Ricky Vargas, who believed that this could ease the heat in the dispute of PH and China in the West Philippine Sea.

“Yes to Ricky Vargas’ China friendly,” Pangilinan posted on Twitter, Monday.

“A bit of an oxymoron nowadays. But hey, if it helps break the pressure and provide relief to our people – lllleeeeezzz ggggoooo PBA!” he added.

And with the new beefing development, Vargas also shared his sentiments on the matter where the proposed best-of-seven exhibition may help bring some “semblance of normalcy” to the country.

“My wish is a best-of-7 Phil Sea cup Championship between China and select players of PBA warriors Coach by Yeng Guiao. Sama ako anywhere friendlies,” he shared.

Moreover, he suggested that the NLEX coach Yeng Guiao be the best fit to coach the PBA select team where the latter expressed his readiness to take the job.

“I will just be ready and waiting…anything I can contribute to educate and create awareness on the issues that confront us on the West Philippine Sea,” he averred.

Yet all of this was still a proposed plan as the topic is expected to be tackled once the league’s 2021 plans have been beefed.
