Ramirez was expected to be an additional man-power to suit up in green and white next UAAP Season 83.

The 6-foot-4 swingman was part of the Gilas Youth pool in the 2019 Fiba Under-19 World Cup, and he was also one of the best players of the Juniors’ Knights last NCAA Season 95.

He averaged 13.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in the Letran’s 8-10 fight in the NCAA Juniors Basketball Tournament.

According to sources, one of the factors why he left La Salle is the new recruits of shooting guards and small forwards like CJ Austria and Emman Galman who is expected to play for Season 84.

Whereas the former UE Warrior Austria helped the team for a forgettable 4-10 run last UAAP Season 82. Austria averaged 17.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.2 blocks.

While Emman Galman was one of the standouts of the Perps for being the main scorer for Junior Altas after averaging 17.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.2 steals last season.

With such recruits, Ramirez’s off-season experienced a couple of career turning points.

From this time forward, there is still no update on where Ramirez will go. But according to one of the sources, there’s a possibility that Ramirez is up for UST.
