Ageo Medics kicked off their campaign with a victorious game with Jaja Santiago, Yuka Sato, Mami Uchiseto leading the scoring front.

Sato chipped 38 kills with a block and an ace, while Mami Uchiseto registered 21 points, and Jaja Santiago added 13 points and four kill blocks to begin her fourth season in Japan.

The open spiker Syuka Kaneda of Seagulls, on the other hand, loaded 28 points to lead the squad, while Aimi Sato added 12 points.

After defeating Okayama, Saitama is yet to battle them once again and make up for not making it to the final four last season.
