FNATIC MOVES FORWARD AT THE LOWER BRACKET
Southeast Asian Dota 2 team Fnatic moves past the first round of the lower bracket at The International 10 after defeating North American team Undying.
This came after Fnatic dominated the NA squad in a do-or-die best of one on Tuesday night with a fast-paced Luna game.
The team was lead to victory by Djardel Jicko ‘DJ’ Mampusti’s Clockwerk which was backed with his core-focused lockdowns to start off team fights.
His playstyle paved the way for the team to rundown Undying’s base which was accompanied by its captain Anucha ‘Jabz’ Jirawong’s Nature Prophet.
The game ended on 28 minutes with a 17, 309 gold difference, in favor of Fnatic.
The SEA squad is set to play against European team ‘Team Spirit’ on Wednesday for the Lower Bracket Round 2 in a best of three format.
Meanwhile, Fnatic is assured of at least a 9-12th place and at least $800,400.
Fnatic’s players are Marc Polo Luis ‘Raven’ Fausto and DJ from the Philippines, Ng Kee ‘ChYuan’ Chyuan from Malaysia, Yang ‘Deth’ Wu Heng from Singapore, and Jabz from Thailand.
