BLACKWATER RENEWS EBONA TO TWO-YEAR EXTENSION, SIGNS AMER TO ONE-YEAR DEAL
Barkley Ebona and Baser Amer are set to continue in the Blackwater squad after giving an extension to be part of the squad.
According to a report by PBA Rush, Ebona and Baser were accompanied to the signing by player agent Danny Espiritu.
The contract for Ebona was a two-year deal while Amer a one-year extension.
“They are part of the players we intend to keep since we are expecting four draft picks for next season,” said the Blackwater coach Ariel Vanguardia.
The new development was said to restructure the team after losing 24 straight games since the Philippine Cup.
Blackwater is looking for ways to improve the tea, especially with JVee Casio, Mike Ayonayon, enforcer Kelly Nabong, and rookie guard Josh Torralba are saddled with injuries.
Nevertheless, the elite is waiting for the arrival of a new import in Shawn Derrick Glover that is set to come in on New Year’s Day.
