ARMY CADETS DOMINATE VISAYAS LEG OF ROTC GAMES

SENATE Majority Leader Francis Tolentino congratulated cadet-athletes from the Philippine Army as they emerged as the top performers in the Visayas qualifying leg of the Philippine Reserve Officers' Training Corps or ROTC Games 2024, held in Bacolod City.

SENATE Majority Leader Francis Tolentino congratulated cadet-athletes from the Philippine Army as they emerged as the top performers in the Visayas qualifying leg of the Philippine Reserve Officers’ Training Corps or ROTC Games 2024, held in Bacolod City.

The Philippine Army cadets amassed 204 medals, comprising 74 golds, 60 silvers, and 70 bronzes.

The Philippine Navy cadet athletes also showcased remarkable talent, securing 129 medals, including 43 golds, 35 silvers, and 42 bronzes.

Meanwhile, the Philippine Air Force cadet-athletes earned 149 medals, with 20 golds, 44 silvers, and 51 bronzes.

Tolentino also expressed his gratitude to all local government units that hosted the various venues of the competition.

The Mindanao leg is scheduled for June 23-29 in Zamboanga City, while the Luzon leg will be held in Indang, Cavite, from July 28 to August 3.

The national championships are on August 18-24 in Indang, Cavite.
