ILOCOS Norte residents can apply for the new programs offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority which partnered with the provincial government to help Ilocanos become technically competent, innovative and creative.

The new programs include hydraulic excavator, hydraulic wheel loader, driving NC II, Swine Production NC II, Masonry NC I, English language course, computer system servicing NC II, Electronics products assembly and servicing NC II and shielded metal arc welding NC I.

Anne Marie Lizette Bitancor-Atuan, Provincial Employment Service Office manager, said these programs are in demand in the province.

“The registration is now open and the successful applicants will be properly informed about the start of the training,” she said.

To avail of the program, applicants may register at https://workin.ilocosnorte.gov.ph/ and apply for the available training options offered.

Basic requirements include an accomplished learner’s profile, original and photocopy of birth certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority, high school report card or transcript of records for college level, barangay clearance or certificate of good moral character, and recent identification cards.
