STUDENTS from Negros Occidental can now avail of the scholarship program ‘Study Now, Pay Later’ as part of the provincial government’s partnership with an Australian school.

This came after Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson inked a pact with the International College of Advance Education in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia for the scholarship.

In a report by Manila Bulletin, Lacson attended the ICAE graduation ceremony where the pact was also formalized last Wednesday.

The scholarship will be available for students in the field of hospitality, tourism, and cookery on ICAE where they will also be given an opportunity to study and work in Australia.

The Memorandum of Agreement signed by Lacson and ICEA chief executive officer Sean Mahoney will also give the students a paid industry placement.

After the program, the students will also be able to secure work visa and eventually migrate to Australia.
