THE PHILIPPINE National Police Academy honored Brigadier General Ronaldo De Jesus, head of the Police Regional Office 8, who is also known as the Top Cop of Eastern Mindanao.

Testimonial honors were given to De Jesus who topped the Individual Commanders Evaluation Rating of the PNP for the period of November 1-30, 2020.

De Jesus, a member of PNP Tagapagbuklod Class of 1989, hails from Malolos, Bulacan.

PNPA Director Maj Gen. Rhoderick Armamento described De Jesus as a seasoned police officer and a noble public servant.

In his valedictory address, De Jesus reminded the Cadet Corps that the future of the PNPA lies in their hands.

“This Testimonial parade, is, in fact, not about me. It is not about an alumnus receiving a hero’s welcome from his Alma Mater, but rather it is an expression of gratitude to the mother institution which catapulted him farther up than he had ever imagined. This is my humblest means of saying thank you to the Philippine National Police Academy. I come home today with my head held high to profess that,  to the best of my ability, I have lived up to the principles of service, honor and justice,” De Jesus stressed.
