TO HELP former combatants return back to society, the Bangsamoro Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education has opened a learning center that will provide livelihood skills training.

The Skills Development Center is located at Camp Badre, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

It aims to support the “Camps Transformation Program” where former combatants and their families will be given skills training.

The initial courses that will be offered are electrical Installation and PV Installation.

The project was done through the partnership between the Australian Government and the Philippines Business for Social Progress.

The training center is the first of seven facilities that will be established in the Bangsamoro Region.
