ALFONSO, Cavite Mayor Randy Salamat thanked LINKS Philippines for choosing the town as a beneficiary of its Building Bridges for Children-Hooked on Book Project.

Under the said project, LINKS will build a library at the Alfonso Central School to help the students.

“Pasasalamat po sa LINKS Philippines at mga major sponsors dahil sa dinami-rami po ng lugar sa bansa ay isa ang Alfonso sa mga piling nagawaran ng proyektong ito,” Salamat said.

“Malaking tulong po ito sa pagpapalakas ng reading literacy ng aming mga mag-aaral,” the mayor added.

Salamat also accepted the books given by LINKS to be used by the students to strengthen their reading literacy.
