THE MAYAO Parada Elementary School in Lucena City installed 10 handwashing facilities to comply with the Policy and Guidelines for the Comprehensive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in School.

The project was completed in partnership with Kiwanis International-Kiwanis Club of New Lucena Central.

Its main goals are to enhance hygiene and sanitation practices among students and staff and give them tools to establish lifelong good hygiene and sanitation habits.

It also aims to provide the school with fair access to clean water.

The blessing of the handwashing facilities was conducted on September 26.
