DSWD ACCOMMODATES OFFLINE APPLICANTS FOR EDUCATIONAL AID
THE DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development in Northern Mindanao assisted students who did not have internet access to register for its educational assistance.
DSWD-10 Assistant Director for Operations Rosemarie Conde said that they assisted the students through the help of the local government units.
In a report, the agency said it distributed P9.4 million to 2,902 beneficiaries in satellite offices with the help of the police and village officials.
The DSWD earlier said that walk-ins will not be allowed to get aid and beneficiaries need to register online.
It added that the beneficiaries in the payout areas were also immunized as part of a vaccination program that DSWD-10 organized with the Department of Health.
