/ 3 October 2020

THE DEPARTMENT of Information and Communications Technology and the local government of Zambales recently inked a memorandum of agreement that aims to strengthen the broadband internet connection in the province.

DICT Secretary Gregorio Honasan II and Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. led the signing of the MOA.

He thanked the local government of Zambales for its initiative to help the DICT.

“How do you unite a beautiful country like the Philippines? You unite it through Communications, Information, and Technology. Thanks to the initiative of the Local Government of Zambales and of course with the help of the Department of Information and Communications Technology,” Honasan said.

Also present during the event were DICT Undersecretary Jose Arturo de Castro, DICT Luzon Cluster 2 Regional Director Reynaldo T. Sy, Zambales Vice Governor Jay Khonghun, Sangguniang Panlalawigan members, mayors and LGU representatives.
