THE DEPARTMENT of Education office in Region XII advised campus journalists in the region to do their best in the 2023 National Schools Press Conference.

The SOCCSKSARGEN delegation for NSPC 2023 is composed of 165 officials, school paper advisers and campus journalists. They arrived in Cagayan de Oro City on July 16.

Regional Director Carlito Rocafort called on the campus journalists and school paper advisers to put their “best foot forward” and bring out the best of Region XII in the national arena.

“Bring home the bacon. We are not just here to win but to showcase our best talents and character,” Rocafort said during the general orientation of participants conducted at the Bulua National High School on July 16.

Rocafort added it was crucial for competitors to demonstrate fairness, respect, and discipline.

“Region XII is one of the top performers in the National Schools Press Conference and I have no doubt that this year you will surpass your previous performances,” the official said.
