THE DEPARTMENT of Education office in General Trias, Cavite received 250 laptops for teachers as well as water purifier units from the local government.

Mayor Luis Ferrer IV and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen led the turnover ceremony held at the Diego Mojica Elementary School in Barangay Sampalukan on March 20. Councilor Vivencio Lozares Jr. of the Committee on Education and 10 other city councilors were also present during the delivery of the items.

“These 250 units of laptops for our teachers is a continuation of the program of the former mayor, now Congressman Ony Ferrer, to provide all our public school teachers here in General Trias with proper tools, and I promise with the help of Team GenTri we will be able to complete this before the year ends, with this water purifier for clean drinking water in each of our schools here in General Trias,” Ferrer said.

Meanwhile, Labuguen said that the water purifier units will ensure that the drinking water in public schools will be safe.

“For clean drinking water in all the public schools here in our city, the local government has provided water purifiers for the safety of teachers, students, and parents,” Labuguen said.
