DEPED ALLOWS CATANDUANES SCHOOL TO HOLD F2F CLASSES

/ 25 September 2021

THE CABUYOAN Elementary School is the only school in Catanduanes province that was allowed by the Department of Education to hold in-person classes.

Schools Division Superintendent Susan Collano said that it was the only school that met the requirements for pilot face-to-face classes.

Collano said that they are waiting for the guidelines from the DepEd Central Office.

They will also conduct surveys for the “expanded” limited face-to-face classes that might happen after the pilot run.

Among the schools being eyed is the San Marcos Elementary School in San Miguel town where no confirmed Covid19 case was reported since the start of the pandemic.

Collano said that the department will likely include San Marcos Elementary School in the second batch of schools that will conduct face-to-face classes.
