DA PARTNERS WITH ISABELA STATE U
THE DEPARTMENT of Agriculture Regional Field Office 2 partnered with the Isabela State University to capacitate its researchers in publishing their research.
ISU President Ricmar P. Aquino awarded DA-RFO2 five slots for the June issue of the Linker, an open access research journal published by the university.
These publications include the Journal on Emerging Research in Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry, The Educators Journal; The Journal of Computing and Technology; Journal on Engineering Application; Journal of Business, Tourism, Public and Legal Management; Journal of Social and Allied Health Sciences; and Journal of Smart Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
Aquino recommended the creation of policies that will give incentives to researchers who have published their work and make it one of the considerations for promotion.
Regional Technical Director Rose Mary Aquino encouraged the researchers to publish their researches to widen the reach of the DA in Research for Development.
“You can never be a good researcher without a publication. I’m expecting that this year we will publish at least 40 publications. ‘Pag naging passion n’yo na ang writing you will be excited to do it regularly,” Aquino said.
