The project seeks to reduce poverty, protect the environment, and enhance productivity and mitigate the effects of climate change through conservation efforts.

“In the bigger picture, it aims to enhance productivity, and mitigate climate change by sustainably using, developing, managing, protecting, and conserving the natural resources of Region II,” the university said.
