COPS LAUDED FOR ASSISTING IN BUILDING SAFER DAYCARE CENTER

/ 22 August 2021

RESIDENTS of Sitio Lopoy in Toril District, Davao City expressed their gratitude to police officers who helped in constructing a more structurally sound daycare center in the province.

Previously made out of wood, the facility has been rebuilt in concrete and cement by personnel from the Revitalized-Pulis sa Barangay Cluster Two, with the aim of making the center safer and more comfortable for the 56 pre-schoolers in Sitio Lopoy.

The Davao City policemen, with the help of Barangay Tungkalan officials, parents, and other stakeholders, began the construction of the improved daycare center last June.

Philippine National Police Chief General Guillermo  Eleazar commended the R-PSB Cluster Two policemen, led by PLt Edmund Siarot, not just for securing Barangay Tungkalan, but also for giving importance to the education of the children in the area.

“Talagang maaasahan natin ang ating kapulisan sa pagbibigay ng kailangang serbisyo sa mga komunidad,” Eleazar said.

The PNP chief hopes the gesture and genuine concern for the community is emulated by other police units in the country.
