CLASSES SUSPENDED DUE TO BOMB THREATS

/ 13 February 2024

FACE-TO-FACE classes in Olongapo City and Balanga City have been suspended on Monday (12 Feb 2024) due to bomb threats.

Olongapo City Mayor Atty. Rolen Paulino Jr. said that the operation of government offices except for essential emergency services and classes in all levels both public and private were suspended.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education Schools Division Office of Balanga City issued a memorandum, suspending the classes.

“Due to information of a possible bomb threat in government offices in Bataan, office works are suspended until further notice this February 12, 2024,” the Division Memorandum No. 077 read.

The implementation of asynchronous classes was observed which started at 11:30 am.
