CHED, PRMSU LAUNCH EDUTOURISM HUB

THE COMMISSION on Higher Education and the President Ramon Magsaysay State University launched a virtual Educational Tourism hub for the benefit of tourists in Zambales.

Dubbed “Sustainable Technology Education Tourism Campus – Coastal Zambales,” the virtual tourism hub will aid tourists with information about the province.

The hub, located at the PRMSU E-Library, will provide “accurate and legitimate information on the best destinations, services, products, and protocols of tourist Coastal destinations in the province through PRMSU Sentro Turismo Zambaleño.”

It also aims to promote education and increase youth and adult participation in coastal education tourism.

“It will concentrate on the sustainable management and use of natural and other resources in the coastal sector…to equip managers, staff, representatives, and other coastal resorts with the skills necessary for safety, security, and a healthy coastal lifestyle,” CHED Regional Office 3 said.

PRMSU and local officials were joined by Dr. Leonida B. Sigua-Calagu from the CHED Central Luzon during the launch of the project.
