CEBU City will allow the conduct of face-to-face classes in all levels for Academic Year 2022 to 2023.

The city council approved the measure for public and private schools on Wednesday.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama met with school heads to discuss the return of face-to-face classes.

They argued that students will learn more in an in-person setup as it will feel more natural and will have more monitoring of students’ performance.

Rama said those who will attend physical classes should be vaccinated against Covid19.

The Commission on Higher Education said that schools opting to hold face-to-face classes must have the approval of the local government unit, a high vaccination rate, and retrofitted facilities.
