/ 31 March 2022

EDUCATION officials commended the Bayanihan project of the Bataan National High School that provided public service to students and their families.

The BNHS set up its Bayanihan Command Center to cater to queries and concerns of almost 5,000 learners in Bataan.

Jonathan Baldeo, Head Teacher III of the BNHS, said that school Bataan National High School noted that the command center has entertained walk-in clients requesting pertinent school documents or other concerns.

To expand the school’s reach, Baldeo said they partnered with a local radio station,  Power Radio 104.7 FM.

Through this partnership, they launched the BALIK ESKWELA and EDUK-Aksyon sa Power Radio 104.7 during the pandemic to provide information to the learners and create a platform for discussion regarding the education sector.

During his visit to SDO Balanga City, Public Affairs Service Director IV June Arvin Gudoy lauded the efforts of the school to strengthen its communication programs at the grassroots level.

“When I saw the Command Center, I was really impressed to know that localized initiatives like this have been helping us along the way. This is a great example of selfless public service to the education stakeholders,” Gudoy said.
