HANDA nang magbukas ang 33 paaralang technical-vocational sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Rehiyon XII – South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Saranggani at General Santos City kahit na limitado lamang ang galaw at dumarami pa ang kaso ng Covid19 sa buong Filipinas.

Ayon kay Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Region XII Director Rafael Abrogar II, tumatanggap na sila ng mga mag-aaral na nais magsanay sa iba’t ibang programang itinataguyod ng TESDA. Mayroon ding laang scholarship slots sa mga kapus-palad pero may matinding pagnanais na matuto.

Siniguro ni Abrogar na mahigpit na susuriin ng TESDA ang health protocols  ng Inter- Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases at Department of Health upang maiwasan ang hawahan ng virus habang may face-to-face interaction ang mga mag-aaral at mga instruktor sa hands-on trainings.

Sa ngayon, agriculture, constructions, cookery, dressmaking, driving, at tourism ang mga programang maaaring enrolan ng mga taga-SOCCSKSARGEN. Patuloy naman itong idedebelop nang sa gayo’y madagdagan ang program offering sa mga susunod na buwan.
