24 SCHOOLS IN NEGROS OCCIDENTAL RESUME F2F CLASSES

/ 9 April 2022

SOME 24 schools in Negros Occidental have resumed face-to-face classes, the Department of Education said.

It said that 13 other schools have been given the green light to resume physical classes.

Ian Arnold Arnaez, DepEd-NegOcc information officer, said that those accepted on April 5 will begin in-person learning after Holy Week.

He said that at least 12 other schools have expressed interest in holding in-person classes. Their applications are being reviewed.

The Valladolid National High School-Senior High School and Aguntilang Elementary School were the first two schools chosen to conduct limited in-person classes last December.

Only schools that passer the safety assessment tool are allowed to resume face-to-face classes.
