VALENZUELA CITY HONORS TOPNOTCHERS WITH CASH INCENTIVES
IN RECOGNITION of academic excellence, Valenzuela City has awarded cash incentives to three residents who excelled in their respective licensure exams.
The awarding ceremony was held in accordance with Ordinance No. 475, Series of 2018, which provides financial rewards to residents who rank in the top 10 of national licensure exams. Mayor Wes Gatchalian personally congratulated the awardees and commended their accomplishments.
“Your achievements inspire our youth to strive for excellence. The City Government is proud to recognize your hard work and dedication,” said Mayor Gatchalian.
Among the awardees was Diana Lynne Palma from Barangay Marulas, who placed 4th in the November 2024 Speech-Language Pathologists Licensure Exam, earning a cash incentive of P30,000. Jerry Mae Ranes from Barangay Maysan, who ranked 5th in the September 2024 Professional Teachers Licensure Exam (Secondary Level), also received P30,000. Joanna Reyes from Barangay Parada, who placed 9th in the October 2024 Metallurgical Engineers Licensure Exam, was awarded P20,000.
The topnotchers expressed their gratitude and hope to contribute their skills and knowledge to their respective fields. The Valenzuela City Topnotchers Incentives Ordinance has supported numerous exceptional graduates and professionals since its inception, encouraging young professionals to pursue excellence and showcasing the potential of Valenzuelanos.
