US EMBASSY TRAINS FILIPINO EDUCATION AGENTS
SOME 150 Filipino education agents and counselors were trained by personnel of the US Embassy on the American college application process.
The panel discussion and workshop included presentations from experienced guidance counselors, EducationUSA advisers, a US Embassy specialist, and a consular officer who discussed US higher education, study consortia, student visas, admission requirements, and financial aid opportunities.
EducationUSA supports and empowers counselors who play a vital role in coaching students interested in applying in US universities.
Meanwhile, the US Commercial Service works with education-related institutions and agents to promote the United States as a premier study destination.
