TESDA GETS HIGHEST APPROVAL AND TRUST RATINGS
THE TECHNICAL Education and Skills Development Authority continues to enjoy the highest trust and approval ratings of Filipinos, the 2nd Quarter Pahayag survey of PUBLiCUS Asia revealed.
TESDA received 72 percent approval rating, the highest among all government agencies.
It was followed by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Department of Science and Technology both with 66 percent approval ratings.
TESDA also remained as the most trusted government agency with 58 percent trust rating.
The AFP followed with 56 percent while the DOST, the Commission on Higher Education and the Department of Education tied at third spot with 52 percent trust rating.
TESDA Director General Suharto Mangudadatu thanked the Filipinos for their support to the agency and vowed to deliver the agency’s programs and services closer to communities.
“We, at TESDA, are keen to bring our programs and services closer to the communities. My 10-point agenda will be our guide in fulfilling our goal of providing adequate education and skills to Filipinos who want to learn and be highly employable skilled workers,” the TESDA chief said.
The PUBLiCUS Asia 2nd Quarter PAHAYAG Survey was conducted from June 7 to 12 with 1,500 respondents nationwide.
