THE TEACHERS’ Dignity Coalition on Wednesday said that teachers are ready for the full implementation of face-to-face classes in the next school year.
TDC Chairperson Benjo Basas said that they have waited for this move for more than two years.
“I think we’re ready, our teachers are actually ready. Our children have suffered a lot because of this distance learning setup. Nakita naman po natin yung output nito, hindi maayos yung output,” Basas said.
He urged the government to ensure that classrooms are not crowded and that teachers are not overworked before the conduct of physical classes.
On Tuesday, President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. said that the government is eyeing full face-to-face classes in November this year.
Marcos noted that starting September, the Department of Education will start a phased physical schooling.
