SENATOR Christopher ‘Bong’ Go encouraged school officials to create school-wide prevention and intervention strategies to efficiently address the needs of their students and help the government in fighting crisis situations.

“As chair of the Senate Committee on Health, the health and safety of our people are my primary priorities. Ang buhay ng tao, hindi katulad ng isang pelikula, ay walang part two. A life lost is a life lost forever. Pag-ingatan natin ang buhay at kalusugan ng bawat isa,” Go said.

The senator stressed the need for the government to remain in the forefront of protecting the students as the country continues to fight the pandemic.

Holding face-to-face classes is one indication that the country is in its way to pandemic recovery, he said, adding that in-person classes can strengthen socio-emotional competencies and reduce the gaps in opportunities.

Go renewed his call to the parents of eligible children to have them get their complete dose of Covid19 vaccines and booster shots.

He also encouraged students and school officials to remain vigilant and adhere to health protocols despite the policy on voluntary use of face masks indoors.
