THE PRESIDENT Ramon Magsaysay State University in Zambales on Monday signed a memorandum of agreement with PGC Enterprises OPC for its organic fertilizer project.

The deal signed by PRMSU President Dr. Roy N. Villalobos and PGC OPC President Philip G. Camara aims to promote the use of environment-friendly farm inputs.

The project dubbed as “Zolvent Pro Organic Spray-based Fertilizer and Plant Protector” will be funded by PGC OPC.

Under the agreement, PRMSU shall mobilize  its Research Division to participate in all aspects of the Zolvent Pro Rice trials and assist in engaging an accredited research scientist “to oversee and sign off on the results and eventually publish the results in relevant publications.”

“On the other hand, PGC OPC shall provide the Zolvent Pro Solutions sufficient to complete rice trials, as well as logistic and financial support to timely execution of rice trials.,” the university said.
